Setting the standard for LBs
Warner posted 132 combined tackles, four interceptions, four forced fumbles and 2.5 sacks over 17 regular-season games while earning unanimous First-Team All-Pro honors in 2023.
ANALYSIS
Warner was one of just four defensive players across the league who hit the century mark in total tackles while also grabbing four or more interceptions. The 49ers' defensive captain finished a tick above his previous five-year average of 128.6 combined tackles, but the real strides were made in the turnover department, where he set new career highs in picks and forced fumbles. Warner will continue setting the bar for Mike linebackers across the league while producing strong IDP numbers for fantasy managers in 2024.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Ready to roll for divisional round
Warner, who sprained his ankle in the wild-card win over the Cowboys, is off the final injury report ahead of Saturday night's divisional-round matchup against the Packers, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Warner's ankle injury occurred with just under nine minutes remaining against the Cowboys, but by Monday morning, the veteran linebacker received confirmation his sprain was not of the high-ankle variety. At that point, Warner publicly proclaimed via social media he expected to play against Green Bay, and his ability to practice fully Wednesday and Thursday validated that optimism.

Warner has been the model of consistency since entering the league, as he has played between 916 and 1,061 snaps while tallying between 118 and 137 tackles. While he doesn't supplement that with much in terms of pass rush, Warner has also established him as a solid coverage linebacker, breaking up at least six passes in four of his five years as a pro. There may not be much more upside in his profile, but there's also very little to complain about his proven level of production.
