Suns Defeat Clippers, 130-103, Reach NBA Finals
The Phoenix Suns defeated the host Los Angeles Clippers, 130-103, in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals at Staples Center on Wednesday.

Phoenix won this Game 6 in decisive fashion, punching their ticket to the NBA Finals. They actually won all four individual quarters, holding the lead for the final three quarters. They did most of their damage in the second half, outscoring Los Angeles, 64-46. The 27-point final margin was just two points off of the largest lead for the Suns. Phoenix ended up out-rebounding Los Angeles, 47-32, while out-assisting them, 27-18. In addition, the Suns shot 56 percent from the field and 55 percent from three-point range.

The Suns (4-2) were led by Chris Paul, who tallied 41 points, four rebounds and eight assists. He scored 31 of those points in the second half, shooting 12-of-16 from the field. Devin Booker amassed 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Jae Crowder had 19 points and five rebounds. Deandre Ayton totaled 16 points, 17 rebounds and two blocks.

The Clippers (2-4) were led by Marcus Morris and his 26 points and nine rebounds. Paul George collected 21 points, nine rebounds and two assists. Reggie Jackson accumulated 13 points, four rebounds, eight assists and two steals. Patrick Beverley generated 11 points and three assists while DeMarcus Cousins led the bench with 12 points.

That marks the end of the road for Los Angeles while Phoenix awaits the winner of the Milwaukee-Atlanta series to see who they face in the NBA Finals. This marks the Suns first Finals appearance since 1992.
