Clippers Host Suns in Game 6 of WCF on Wednesday
The Los Angeles Clippers play host to the Phoenix Suns in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals at Staples Center on Wednesday.

The Suns (3-2) did an incredible job of getting up 3-1 in this series, giving them eight wins in their previous nine games before Monday's loss. That was a chance for this team to close out the Clippers at home, but they were unsuccessful thanks to the heroics of Paul George. This has been one of the best defenses in the NBA, but it was lacking in that Game 5 defeat. In fact, the Clippers shot over 55 percent from the field in that victory while winning the turnover battle, 14-9. That won't get it done in an elimination game, but Phoenix has two more chances to close this series and make their first Finals appearance since 1992.

The Clippers (2-3) have had more resiliency than any other team in this postseason, and they showed just that in Game 5. Los Angeles had an uphill battle with an elimination game in Phoenix but responded with a dominating victory. Paul George was majestic in that win, collecting 41 points, 13 rebounds and six assists on 15-of-20 from the field. They also got 20-plus from Reggie Jackson and Marcus Morris, with DeMarcus Cousins provided 15 points off the bench. The grit of this team really shows in the results because they've started all three series in an 0-2 hole and are now just two wins away from overcoming a 3-1 deficit. What's even crazier is the fact that they're doing this damage without Kawhi Leonard (knee), who also has a chance to return at some point in this series as well.

Teams who have gone up 3-1 in a seven-game series have won 95 percent of those series in NBA history.
