Bucks Dominate To Secure Big Win In Game 2
The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Atlanta Hawks, 125-91, at Fiserv Forum on Friday evening.

The Bucks looked absolutely dominant on both ends of the court in the first half and quickly raced out to a 34-28 lead in the first quarter, though they’d pull away for good in the second. Milwaukee scored a season-high 43 points in the second quarter, including an 18-0 run, and that led to them holding a huge 77-45 advantage at the halftime break. That was the second-largest halftime lead in a Conference or Division finals in NBA history. The Bucks didn’t stop dominating after the break and outscored Atlanta by a 26-18 score in the third quarter, allowing them to surpass the 100-point mark and lead the game 103-63 with just 12 minutes left on the clock. The final quarter saw both teams play the deepest of their benches, giving a clear sign that the game was already over. The final quarter ended with a 125-91 score, but the game was already decided by then and the Bucks secured a huge victory.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was the highest-scoring player for Milwaukee and finished with 25 points, but he also ended nine rebounds, six assists and two steals. Jrue Holiday contributed 22 points, but he also added seven assists and two rebounds. Khris Middleton contributed 15 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, while Brook Lopez cooperated with 16 points. No other Bucks player scored in double digits in this dominant victory.

Trae Young delivered 15 points and three assists to lead the Hawks, but he also shot 6-for-16 from the field. Clint Capela had 11 points and eight rebounds, while Danilo Gallinari also scored in double digits with 12 points off the bench. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Kevin Huerter ended with eight points each. Cam Reddish had a strong game and scored 11 points in 17 minutes off the bench.
