Hawks Stun Bucks To Steal Game 1
The Atlanta Hawks defeated the host Milwaukee Bucks, 116-113, in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals at Fiserv Forum on Wednesday evening.

The Bucks got out to a good start, but the Hawks kept it close and trailed by just three, after one quarter. The Bucks picked up the pace to start the second and jumped out to a nine-point lead, but the visitors rallied back to make it a five-point game by halftime. The Hawks carried the momentum into the third, where they overtook the lead mid way through the quarter, and they hung on to a three-point lead heading into the final frame. The Bucks responded in the fourth and managed to claw back ahead to a seven-point lead, with just over four minutes left. However, the Hawks came up clutch down the stretch, outscoring the hosts, 18-8, the rest of the way to complete the upset in Game 1, and steal home-court advantage in the series.

Trae Young was sensational for the Hawks, with 48 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds and a steal, in 41 minutes. John Collins followed up with 23 points and 15 rebounds, while Clint Capela totaled 12 points, 19 rebounds, a steal and a block. The Hawks shot 49 percent from the field, including 8-of-32 from long range.

Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 34 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and two blocks, in 41 minutes. Jrue Holiday followed up with 33 points, 10 assists, four rebounds, two steals and a block, while Khris Middleton added 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals. The Bucks shot 46 percent from the field, including 8-of-36 from deep.

Game 2 is scheduled for Friday in Milwaukee.
