Has new opponent
Rountree, who was originally scheduled to fight Azamat Murzakanov at UFC Austin on Dec. 2, will now face Anthony Smith at UFC 233 on Dec. 9 in Las Vegas according to Dana White.
ANALYSIS
Murzakanov came down with pneumonia and is no longer able to compete, so credit to Smith for stepping up on short notice. Rountree will have plenty of momentum, as he's won four straight fights, three of which were by knockout.

Next fight scheduled
Rountree will face off against Azamat Murzakanov at a UFC event on Dec. 2, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Rountree has won his last four-consecutive fights, three of them by knockout. The 33-year-old American holds an 8-5 record during his time with the UFC, which he will look to continue building upon against Azamat Murzakanov in December.

Runs winning streak to four
Rountree defeated Chris Daukaus via TKO (punches) at 2:40 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 51 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Rountree's all-around skill set is questionable, as is his cardio, but the power is legitimate, as Daukaus found out first hand here. An opponent with durability issues that is unable to get his head off the center line, such as Daukaus, is a dream matchup for Rountree. All it took one was left hand right up the gut to end this fight in an instant -- that shot would go on to earn him a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus as well. The competition level has been pretty lousy (Daukaus, Dustin Jacoby, Karl Roberson, Modestas Bukauskas), but Rountree has won four straight on the heels of a 1-3 stretch in his prior four appearances.

Daukaus fight rescheduled
Rountree will fight Chris Daukaus in a light heavyweight fight at a UFC event on August 12, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Rountree will take on Daukaus after all. The two fighters were originally scheduled to fight on June 10, however after Daukaus was forced to withdraw from the fight, the bout was ultimately rescheduled.

Fight cancelled
Rountree will no longer fight Chris Daukaus at UFC 289 on June 10 after Daukaus was forced to pull out of the fight, MMAFighting.com reports Friday.
ANALYSIS
It's unclear why Daukaus was forced to withdraw from the bout, but Rountree will need to find another opponent as soon as possible if he still wants to compete at UFC 289. Rountree is coming off three straight UFC victories.
