Yoder lost to Jinh Yu Frey via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC on ESPN 28 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

In desperate need of a victory and entering as a (-160) favorite, Yoder had all sorts of difficulty on the feet against her much smaller opponent. Yoder appeared to be about twice Frey's size, but that didn't stop the later from getting inside and landing with regularity. Yoder doesn't have a knockout victory in her professional career, and it was surprising she was so content engaging Frey in a kickboxing match most of the night.
