Latest Fantasy Rumors
Appears good to go
Sanderson has been out of action with a lower-body injury but might be ready to play versus the Blackhawks on Saturday, per TSN 1200 Ottawa.
ANALYSIS
Sanderson has yet to get into a game since the All-Star break, missing three straight contests due to his lower-body issue. While the 21-year-old defender's power-play productivity has dropped -- he has just six points in 47 games with the man advantage this year -- Sanderson could still best the 32 points he recorded last season as a rookie.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Sanderson, the fifth overall pick in the 2020 draft, signed his entry-level deal with Ottawa in late March following the completion of his season at the University of North Dakota. A hand injury prohibited Sanderson from making his NHL debut late in the year, but he has since recovered and is fully expected to be a regular for the Senators in 2022-23. Ottawa will likely practice caution with Sanderson, who will play the entirety of the upcoming year at age 20, but he could very easily force the Sens' hand into a larger role if he gets off to a quick start.
