Chatfield, who has been out since Feb. 17 due to an upper-body injury, may be ready to play Tuesday versus Minnesota, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Chatfied could be available to return from a four-game absence after being paired with Dmitry Orlov during Tuesday's morning skate. The 27-year-old Chatfield has five goals and 14 points in 49 contests this campaign.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Chatfield shuttled between the Canucks and AHL Utica frequently last year, often serving as an emergency option on the blue line. He has yet to make his NHL debut, and it's not looking all that likely in 2020-21, either. While Tyler Myers and Jordie Benn aren't exciting options on defense, they're vastly more experienced than Chatfield. The Canucks also have Travis Hamonic in training camp on a tryout, and he'll likely have an actual contract before the season starts. With that in mind, Chatfield will likely be organizational depth again this year, with no guarantee of getting NHL playing time on the horizon.
