Latest Fantasy Rumors
Good fit for Toronto?
Luke Fox of Sportsnet believes Borgen would be a good fit for the Maple Leafs, who are believed to be looking to acquire a defenseman on the trade market.
ANALYSIS
Borgen has nine assists, 62 hits and 43 blocks in 30 contests with Seattle this season. He'd serve as more than just a rental -- the 26-year-old is in the first campaign of a two-year, $5.4 million contract. The Kraken have struggled this year with a 9-14-7 record, but because Borgen's still fairly young and has term left on his deal, Seattle might not be motivated to move him. Still, if Toronto is willing to give up the right assets, Borgen would bolster the Maple Leafs defensively.
