Josh Archibald

Archibald returned to the 20-point mark with 12 goals and nine helpers in 62 games last year, just one point shy of his career-high 22 from the year before. Impressively, Archibald achieved those marks in a bottom-six role while adding a healthy 165 hits. The 28-year-old winger is an intriguing player in fantasy -- he saw a few games alongside Connor McDavid when Zack Kassian missed time last year. At face value, Archibald isn't likely to interest most fantasy managers outside of deeper formats. He's also not likely to shoot at an 18.8 percent clip again, so don't expect much more than 20 points out of the Regina, Saskatchewan native.

A physical fourth-liner, Archibald set career highs with 22 points and 161 hits in 68 games with the Coyotes last year. It wasn't enough for the winger to be given a qualifying offer, making him a free agent. Archibald then latched on with the Oilers on a one-year contract. His role is likely that of a fourth-liner again in 2019-20, although he may produce a few more points than a typical grinder. The Regina native will also likely add over two hits per game, but it's unlikely the physicality will be enough to overcome the lack of offense from a fantasy perspective.

Every team needs a few industrious bottom-six grinders who play relentlessly on both ends of the ice. Archibald is that guy for the Coyotes. If you project his 2017-18 numbers over the course of a full 82-game season, he would've finished with approximately 10 goals, 12 assists and a whopping 168 hits in spite of a scant role that's seen him barely muster 12 minutes of ice time per contest.
