Thomas finally broke into the NHL in 2020-21 after being selected by the Lightning in the fourth round of the 2014 Draft, going scoreless in five appearances with the big club, but that evidently wasn't enough for him to garner any interest from other North American clubs. The 25-year-old Canadian appears poised to head to Sweden to continue his playing career in 2021-22.
