SK vs. VIT

Vitality won the last time these two teams met, and SK come in on a losing streak. Since the break, Vitality made a change by bringing Skeanz into the starting roster, and this meta is perfect for him because he is a nidalee one trick. Vitality are good at setting up around objectives and have a decent early game, but they shine in the mid-to-late game. They have a better rating for mid-to-late than SK, and bringing in skeanz should help their early game. Vitality have a 57 percent first turret and they are second in the league at first dragon (67 percent) too. SK have been playing well, but I want Vitality to take this game through their macro play and new early game advantage.

Prediction: Vitality Win

  • Vitality Players to Target: Milica ($6,800), Skeanz ($6,200)

S04 vs. RGE

I think the break hurt Rogue a little because they were on a hot streak in the first half of the round robin and S04 looked horrible. I don't think S04 could get any worse, but their players aren't good enough to stand against Rogue. Rogue have been good at spreading resources around the team this split, and

S04 vs. RGE

I think the break hurt Rogue a little because they were on a hot streak in the first half of the round robin and S04 looked horrible. I don't think S04 could get any worse, but their players aren't good enough to stand against Rogue. Rogue have been good at spreading resources around the team this split, and their drafts have been great. They have the best early game rating at 62.3, second best mid-to-late game rating in the league while S04 are the bottom in every category. Rogue are a safe cash game play and could be one of the higher scoring teams, with S04 averaging 16.5 deaths per loss.

Prediction: Rogue Win

  • Rogue Players to Target: Larssen ($7,800),  Hansama ($7,400)

MSF vs. FNC

This break is good for both teams, as it gives Misfits time to gel together with Kobbe coming in and gives FNC a mental break because they have been horrid this split. I believe Fnatic is still the better team, and they are one of the teams that has a second-half resurgence and their drafts have costed them many games. Numbers are definitely saying that Misfits are good, but now that MAD Lions are contenders to make worlds they need to start taking games seriously, and this is a solid spot for a bounce-back smash spot.

Prediction: FNC Win

XL vs. MAD

This might be a closer game than what people think because xL were able to take two wins before the break, including one against G2. Their early game is their strength, as they are third in the league in early game rating while MAD are the best in the league in the mid-to-late game. What is crazy is that xL have the second-best first turret and first-to-three turret rate (78 percent), and they have the third-best herald control (68 percent), even better than MAD. We know MAD loves to play in the late game, and they have come back from some huge gold deficits, but the only team that was able to punish them was Misfits. I like both sides of this matchup, as MAD's kills per win average has been 17.5 and the deaths per loss for xL has been 16.5. This could be a bloody game and I like both sides of it.

Prediction: MAD Win

  • MAD Players to Target: Everyone
  • xL Players to Target: Everyone

G2 vs. OG

In previous years I would say this would be a close matchup, but OG have been pretty bad this split in about every aspect of their game. Their drafts have been poor, Nukeduck hasn't been able to carry, and they downgraded with Jactroll as their new support. Jactroll has been the worst support in the LEC the last two years, and he does nothing special to help out his ADC player. He is the lowest-scoring fantasy player even in a 20-kill game because he is just lost in the mix. I don't know what the thought process was putting him in the starting lineup, but G2 are going to come back and smash after the break. Play G2 and move on.

Prediction: G2 Win

  • G2 Players to Target: Everyone
