2023 Receiving Projections
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Is Ogle-Kellogg the next man up? The Roadrunners have been an elite passing game for the last two years. Not only has Frank Harris been stellar, but they have had not one, not two, but three above-average receivers. Zakhari Franklin, Joseph Cephus, and De’Corian Clark all had at least 50 catches, 740 yards, and six touchdowns last year, and that’s with Clark missing several games with season-ending leg surgery. For the most part, the gang is all back for UTSA as they move to the AAC. They managed to keep head coach Jeff Traylor around, Harris eschewed the NFL, and Cephus and Clark return. However, Franklin is gone, having transferred to Ole Miss. He had 93 catches for 1,137 yards and 15 touchdowns last year. One assumes Cephus and Clark aren’t going to suddenly both rack up 120 catches or something like that. Instead, somebody has to be the new number-three guy, who has in the past put up better numbers than some teams’ number-one guys. Ogle-Kellogg should step into that role, but what does that mean? Does he rack up 500 yards? 700 yards? 300 yards? He’s a lot of projection, but if you want to roll the dice on Ogle-Kellogg, that makes sense. Read Past Outlooks
Scores twice in Saturday's win
Ogle-Kellogg reeled in 5 of 6 targets for 85 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 41-27 victory against East Carolina.
ANALYSIS
In what has become an absurd trend, Ogle-Kellogg scored a 43-yard touchdown Saturday, the fifth time in the last six games he has scored a touchdown from between 40 and 46 yards out. He also caught his first short touchdown of the season, a one-yard catch in the first quarter to open up the scoring. He seems to be a virtual guarantee to score a touchdown from 40 yards out at this point, so he is probably worth monitoring in any format, especially with three weak defenses coming up on the schedule.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Ogle-Kellogg led the Roadrunners in receiving touchdowns as a freshman in 2018, though he only had three. Those three scores came on only 14 catches, which is not a touchdown rate he can likely keep up. The sophomore does have size on his side, as he stands 6'4''. There may be an opportunity for him to take on a bigger role in the UTSA offense in 2019, and if he makes good use of that size he could end up being the lead receiver for this team.
