Middle Tennessee State's team is known for taking in a lot more receivers than most schools, and Kelly happened to be the latest addition. Despite more competition likely ahead for him, he is expected to be considered in the upper echelon of MTSU's receivers after transferring from SEC college Auburn. At least with Middle Tennessee State, Kelly stands a better chance of playing more than one game, which was what he did with the 2023 Tigers.
