Throws two INT vs. NIU
December 4, 2021
Crum went 11-for-21 for 128 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions, along with 15 carries for 68 yards, Saturday against Northern Illinois in the MAC title game.
ANALYSIS
Crum did not play well, and one of his interceptions was a pick-six for the opposing Huskies. He'll look to rebound, and finish his college career on a better note, in Kent State's bowl game.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2021
2020
2019
Crum only had four games to showcase his talents in 2020 due to the shortened MAC season but he made the most of those opportunities, racking up 16 total touchdowns (4 rushing) and 1421 total yards in that span. That was an impressive encore to his breakout 2019 where he threw for 20 touchdowns and added 707 yards and six scores on the ground. He’s the best dual-threat quarterback in the MAC and even though he loses top target Isaiah McKoy, Kent State brings back plenty of receiving talent, like speedster Ja’Shaun Poke, for Crum to continue dominating.
Crum was one of the great out-of-nowhere stories in 2019 and now he enters his senior season as one of the top fantasy quarterbacks in the country. His blend of accuracy and mobility make him an asset for any team. His two regular-season interceptions were the second-fewest in the nation behind Ohio State’s Justin Fields, and his 69.2 percent completion rate ranked 8th in the nation among qualified passers. And in terms of mobility, finished ninth among quarterbacks in rushing yards with 560. Crum is also surrounded by a talented supporting cast headlined by star receiver Isaiah McKoy, who is among the best in the MAC. The Kent State signal caller has everything working in his favor and is in line for another standout season in 2020.
Crum saw action in seven games as Woody Barrett's backup last year, with almost as many carries (19) as pass attempts (27). His potential as a runner is clear going back to his 2017 freshman season (310 yards on 85 carries), and that's what would give him fantasy value if he had to start. But barring an injury or a surprise during fall camp, Crum is in line to only be an occasionally used backup again.
