Departs loss with injury Wednesday

September 23, 2021
Davis completed six of his 14 passing attempts for 50 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Wednesday's 24-7 loss to Hamilton. He added two rushes for five yards and lost a fumble.
ANALYSIS
It was an absolutely disastrous outing for Davis as he achieved just one first down on nine first-half drives. He started the second half before another two-and-out and a pick-six, during which he picked up a hamstring injury and missed the remainder of the game. The East Carolina product unfortunately has a short week to be ready for a Week 9 home tilt against Edmonton on the 28th.
