Mast will undergo surgery on his knee and medically redshirt the 2024-2025 season, Nebraska announced Thursday.
ANALYSIS
After spending three seasons at Bradley, Mast transferred to Lincoln last year and instantly became Nebraska's premier big man. His skillset mostly carried over to the high major level, as although his efficiency took a dip, he still averaged 12.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists. His absence for next season means that the Huskers will have to find a new starting center.
