Ogheneyole Akuwovo

ANALYSIS
As a freshman in 2018-19, Akuwovo started 32 of Howard's 34 games at center, finishing his first season with the program with averages of 4.6 points, 5.3 boards and 0.7 blocks in 19.7 minutes per game. While he would be in line for a more sizable role if he returns to the Bison next season Akuwovo seems more likely to move elsewhere after coach Kevin Nickelberry resigned in late March. Unless he secures a waiver from the NCAA, Akuwovo would have to sit out the 2019-20 campaign at his next stop before returning to action in 2020-21 with three years of eligibility.
