Continuing career at McNeese State
Hueitt announced Sunday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to McNeese State, joining the program as a graduate transfer from UNC Greensboro.
ANALYSIS
McNeese State marks the third Division I stop for Huiett, who began his playing career at Old Dominion in 2017-18 before moving on to UNC Greensboro. After sitting out the 2018-19 season due to NCAA transfer rules, Hueitt averaged 5.8 points, 1.6 three-pointers and 1.4 assists in 13.7 minutes per game over 30 appearances during his first active year with the program in 2019-20. He then opted out of the 2020-21 campaign for personal reasons. Hueitt will be able to compete right away at McNeese State with up to two years of eligibility to use.
