Scores four in win
REssendon Bombers
August 22, 2021
Wright scored four goals and made eight marks during Sunday's 102-64 win over Collingwood in Round 23.
ANALYSIS
Wright has put up some massive games over the last few weeks of the season with at least three goals and as many as seven scored in three of his last five matches. While Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti isn't in the lineup, keep an eye out for what else Wright can do in the finals.

Bags seven in big win
REssendon Bombers
August 8, 2021
Wright scored seven goals, made nine marks and logged nine hitouts during Sunday's 97-84 win over the Western Bulldogs in Round 21.
ANALYSIS
Wright is good for the occasional masterclass and this game fell into that category as he commanded the attack all by himself. As his best performances all season have come when he's able to score multiple goals, figuring out when that could happen can yield extra value from this Bomber.
Scores three in win
REssendon Bombers
July 18, 2021
Wright scored three goals and one behind to go with 20 disposals (11 kicks, nine handballs), seven marks made and 10 hitters recorded during Sunday's 92-74 win over North Melbourne in Round 18.
ANALYSIS
Wright is someone who needs goals to put up his best numbers as he only handles duties as the second ruck with Sam Draper. Still, he's scored seven times in his last four games and could be in a good spot to produce even more.
Returning in Round 14
REssendon Bombers
June 18, 2021
Wright (calf) made the final 22 for Round 14 against Hawthorn.
ANALYSIS
Wright hasn't played since Round 10 due to a calf injury and found a spot on the interchange list for this game. At his best, Wright has topped 100 fantasy points on two different occasions.
Unlikely for Round 12
REssendon Bombers
Calf
June 1, 2021
Wright is expected to miss Round 12 against Richmond due to a calf injury and has a better shot of returning after the Round 13 bye, according to high performance manager Sean Murphy. "It was precautionary heading into the (last game) game, and we'll see how this week goes, but (Wright is) probably more unlikely this week."
ANALYSIS
Wright was a late scratch in Round 11 after scoring three goals and making 10 marks in the Round 10 win over North Melbourne. His production has been exceptionally inconsistent this season, though this injury means there's one less high-risk player to consider until his projected return in Round 14 against Hawthorn.
Three majors, two behinds v. Roos
REssendon Bombers
May 23, 2021
Wright sewed up 16 disposals, 10 marks, six hitouts, three goals, two behinds and a goal assist and tackle each Sunday as Essendon knocked off North Melbourne 141-69 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
A personal-best matching 13 kicks and season-highs for disposals, marks and inside 50s (4) combined with a game-leading three goals to propel Wright to his best fantasy showing in four appearances and second 100-point performance of 2021. Unfortunately, a 60.25 point median in the other eight games the 24 year-old has played this season leave him a legitimate option for selection only at ruck heading into Round 11.
