Suffers shoulder injury
FAdelaide Crows
Shoulder
April 13, 2021
McAdam injured the sternoclavicular joint in his shoulder during the Round 4 win over North Melbourne and will be a test to play in Round 5 against Freemantle.
ANALYSIS
McAdam has already scored 10 goals this season, but his season-high of 70 fantasy points recorded in Round 2 isn't enough to make a consistent impact. Since he was able to play out the Round 4 match after picking up this injury, he'll hope to miss no more than one match at most.
Hamstring not an issue
FAdelaide Crows
August 25, 2020
McAdam (hamstring) isn't considered a problem moving forward, James Hetherington of the Crows' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
McAdam only received minor treatment late in Saturday's contest but could have returned had more time been remaining on the clock. His status shouldn't be in question for the Sept. 1 clash with Hawthorn.
Injures hamstring Saturday
FAdelaide Crows
Hamstring
August 23, 2020
McAdam sustained a hamstring injury during Saturday's contest against Geelong.
ANALYSIS
The extent of the injury remains unclear at this time, but McAdam's next opportunity to return comes Sep. 1 against Hawthorn. McAdam flashed before his injury, beating three defenders to score the most impressive goal of the day.
Taking a rest Wednesday
FAdelaide Crows
Rest
August 4, 2020
McAdam will be managed for Wednesday's clash versus Melbourne, Kieron Turner of the Crows' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
McAdam is among four players sitting out the contest for management purposes. It comes with the Crows having just four days between games and it should freshen McAdam up for a return to the lineup in Round 11.
Boots two goals in loss
FAdelaide Crows
August 2, 2020
McAdam ended with 10 disposals (eight kicks, two handballs), five marks, three tackles, two goals and two behinds in Saturday's 119-50 loss to North Melbourne.
ANALYSIS
Playing in only his sixth game, McAdam bagged himself two majors on a day the Crows struggled to get anything going. He put up numbers across the board to round out what was arguably the best performance of his short career. The Crows have nothing to play for at this stage other than pride and the opportunity to blood a few of their young players. McAdam falls safely into that category and should continue to log meaningful minutes moving forward.
