Second-best fantasy outing of 2021
FMelbourne Demons
July 8, 2021
Pickett accumulated nine disposals and nine tackles each, three marks, three goals and a single clearance Thursday as Melbourne defeated Port Adelaide 86-55 at Adelaide Oval.
ANALYSIS
Pickett failed to reach double-digit disposals for a second consecutive week , yet finished Thursday's match having set a new personal-best for tackles and tied with teammates Tom McDonald and Christian Petracca as the match leader in majors. The latter found the AFL league leader for total tackles inside 50 (26) registering his second-best fantasy point total of 2021 (87 points), but ultimately did little to improve his 63.4 point-per- outing average, which ranks currently 98th-best among league forwards.

Impresses in win
FMelbourne Demons
June 4, 2021
Pickett scored three goals and three behinds to go with three marks made during Friday's 97-75 win over Brisbane in Round 12.
ANALYSIS
Pickett's efforts were some of the highlights of the match but he still only finished with 65 fantasy points to his name. So long as his disposal tally is closer to 10 than 20, it's more wise to look for Tom McDonald if trying to find value from Melbourne's forwards.
Gaining confidence after big win
FMelbourne Demons
August 10, 2020
Pickett amassed 12 disposals (seven kicks, five handballs), three marks, three tackles, two behinds and one goal in Sunday's 92-35 victory over the Kangaroos.
ANALYSIS
Playing in just the eighth game of his young career, Pickett continues to develop and managed a career-high 12 disposals in the win. He ranks inside the top-10 in just about every category when it comes to rising stars and while he is unlikely to move the fantasy needle this season, he is a player to watch in the future.
Returning Sunday
FMelbourne Demons
August 8, 2020
Pickett (ankle) is returning to the Demon lineup Sunday against the Kangaroos after a one-game absence.
ANALYSIS
Pickett's ankle injury won't be holding him out for very long as he will be making his return to the starting lineup after missing just one game. At just 19 years old, Pickett leads all competitors his age with seven disposals per game and appears to be a success story in the making for the Demons.
Out with minor ankle issue

Ankle
August 4, 2020
Pickett will miss Wednesday's game versus Adelaide due to a minor ankle complaint, Ben Gibson of the Demons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Pickett missed Round 2 due to a suspension for breaking the league's COVID-19 protocol but had played in every game since his return. He will require at least one game off because of the issue, though there's no guarantee he will be back immediately.
Clear of suspension
FMelbourne Demons
June 16, 2020
Pickett has served his one-week suspension and is a good bet to be in the Demons' 22 for Round 3, Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Pickett's one-game ban came for breaching the league's COVID-19 protocol. With that out of the way, Pickett, who opened the season with two goals, two behinds and 11 disposals versus West Coast, will aim to add to his totals in Round 3.
