Noticeable improvement in victory
MSydney Swans
September 3, 2020
McInerney amassed 14 disposals (seven kicks, seven handballs), five marks, two goals and one tackle in Thursday's 67-46 victory over Melbourne.
ANALYSIS
Playing in just the seventh game of his career, McInerney split the middle for the first time, kicking two goals in the Swans upset victory. It was his best game as a professional and given what we have seen thus far, he looks as though he could be a key part of the Swans midfield as they enter a rebuilding phase.

Late change not due to injury
MSydney Swans
June 23, 2020
McInerney's replacement in the lineup by Hayden McLean on Saturday was to give the Swans extra height, Anna Harrington of The Australian reports.
ANALYSIS
While McInerney wasn't able to take part, the good news is that he is still available for selection moving forward. McInerney hasn't been a particularly major contributor in his first two contests, averaging just 12.5 disposals, 2.0 marks and 1.5 tackles through the first two rounds.
