April 27, 2021
Ridley (concussion) could return for the Round 7 matchup with Carlton, according to Callum Twomey of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was knocked out early into the Round 5 loss to Brisbane and it kept him out of the Anzac Day win over Collingwood in Round 6. Essendon's best and fairest last season, Ridley has already collected 67 disposals and 17 marks during his two healthy games in 2021.

Picks up concussion against Lions
DEssendon Bombers
Concussion
April 17, 2021
Ridley suffered a concussion during Saturday's 102-45 loss to Brisbane, according to Michael Whiting of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Ridley will be out for the next 12 days while he enters the league's concussion protocol, and that will keep him out for Round 6. He'll be worth monitoring when he returns, as he's one of the most valuable fantasy defenders in the league and recorded no fewer than 28 disposals over the three rounds before picking up this injury.
Third-straight game w/100+ points
DEssendon Bombers
April 9, 2021
Ridley cataloged 28 disposals, eight marks and two tackles Thursday as Essendon fell to Sydney 83-80 at MCG.
ANALYSIS
Ridley paired a game-high 22 kicks with six handballs to finish with the second-highest disposal total in Thursday's contest and tied teammate Dyson Heppell for most marks by an Essendon player in the defeat . The 22 year-old phenom exits Round Four having now topped 109 fantasy points in each of the Bombers' last three outings, numbers which find him now rated second-best for total AFL fantasy score (433 points) and averaging the most fantasy points (108.2) by a defender having appeared in every game played to this point in 2021.

DEssendon Bombers
April 3, 2021
Ridley attained 35 disposals, 10 marks and a pair of tackles Saturday as Essendon routed St. Kilda 143-68 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Ridley paired 22 kicks and 13 handballs to finish tied with St. Kilda's Jack Steele for most disposals in Saturday's game and, alongside teammate Aaron Francis, paced all players with 10 marks. His 124 fantasy points in the outing too represented a personal-best and leaves the defender having averaged an imposing 116.5 points in each of Essendon's last two contests.
Team-high 32 disposals, 23 kicks
DEssendon Bombers
March 27, 2021
Ridley generated 32 disposals (23 kicks, nine handballs) and seven marks as Essendon fell to Port Adelaide 119-65 on Friday night.
ANALYSIS
Ridley paced Essendon in disposals and kicks on Friday night and trailed only the Power's Dan Houston in total meters gained for the game with 616. The Bombers have struggled through the first two rounds of the season, allowing a historical come-from-behind victory to Hawthorn on March 20 and losing to Port Adelaide by 54 points on Friday. Those defeats have failed to tarnish the fantasy luster of the 22 year-old forward, however, with Ridley currently averaging nearly 100 points an outing in 2021 - a figure undoubtedly bolstered by a league-leading total for time on ground (100).
Serviceable production in loss
DEssendon Bombers
August 22, 2020
Ridley contributed 16 disposals (10 kicks, six handballs), eight marks and one tackle in Saturday's 73-61 loss to Richmond.
ANALYSIS
Ridley was one of the Bombers' best on Saturday, continuing his strong play over the past few weeks. A stout defender, Ridley is one of the more productive backmen in the league. The Bombers are beginning to lose touch with the top half of the ladder and will need to string a couple of wins together if they hope to play finals this season.
