August 28, 2021
Heeney derived 21 disposals, five marks, four goals, two tackles and goal assists each and and a single behind Saturday as Sydney fell to GWS 74-73 in a elimination final at UTAS Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Heeney topped 20 total touches for a second-consecutive week, set a new season-high for clangers (6) and paced all players for majors in Saturday's heart-breaking loss to GWS. The 25 year-old closes out the year having averaged 15.9 disposals, 5.7 marks, 1.9 tackles and 1.7 goals a game across 20 appearances and currently ranked the AFL's No. 19 in total goal assists (18).

In lineup against Saints
FSydney Swans
August 5, 2021
Heeney made the initial lineup for Round 21 against St Kilda.
ANALYSIS
Heeney had missed one week with a thumb issue but he's on track to return in this game. With five goals in his last match against Fremantle, Heeney may still be in decent form for the Saints.

Thumb
August 3, 2021
Heeney is listed as a test due to a thumb injury picked up in Round 20 against Essendon, according to Martin Pegan of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Heeney has put up some big performances when he can score multiple goals in a game, but that may not be as easy with a hand injury.
Scores five in win
FSydney Swans
July 25, 2021
Heeney scored five goals and one behind to go with 22 disposals (15 kicks, seven handballs) and 11 marks made during the 98-58 win over Fremantle in Round 19.
ANALYSIS
Heeney occasionally turns on the jets to dominate games and this fit the bill as he amassed five majors and logged double-digit marks for the second time this season. Since his goalscoring and mark-taking isn't the most consistent, it may not be worth relying on Heeney without good news on his form heading into a given round.
Leading effort in win
FSydney Swans
May 30, 2021
Heeney scored three goals and one behind to go with 22 disposals (20 kicks, 2 handballs) and 14 marks made during Sunday's 100-78 win over Carlton.
ANALYSIS
Heeney started the season as a low-value player, but three straight weeks with at least 22 disposals and a season-high 14 marks have helped him to his second game of over 100 fantasy points in three weeks. Doing better than both Callum Mills and Luke Parker is an impressive feat, even over just a limited amount of time. While he still surpasses those two in fantasy production, Heeney could be the most important player to consider each week from the Swans.
Strong effort in return
FSydney Swans
May 15, 2021
Heeney scored three goals and two behinds to go with 22 disposals (12 kicks, 10 handballs) and made six marks during Saturday's 72-42 win over Collingwood.
ANALYSIS
Heeney missed Round 8 with an ankle issue but came back and scored two first half goals to make himself integral to the success of the Swans. As he didn't get much going in the three rounds before picking up his ankle injury, Heeney now has a good opportunity to increase his production if he can follow up this game with more high-value showings.
