Makes career-high seven tackles in loss
DSydney Swans
September 9, 2020
Aliir compiled four disposals (two kicks, two handballs) and seven tackles in Tuesday's 57-52 loss to Carlton.
ANALYSIS
It was a night of contrasts for Aliir who made a career-high seven tackles but managed just four disposals for the entire night. The Swans have now lost four of their past five games and seven of their past nine. In what is clearly a rebuilding phase for the proud club, thoughts are already focused on next season, and where Aliir fits in those plans is unclear at this point.
Off injury list
DSydney Swans
August 18, 2020
Aliir (toe) is no longer among the Swans list of injuries, Marc McGowan of the AFL's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Aliir's toe issue kept him off the field for last week's match, but his exclusion from the injury list is a good sign that he could be back in the mix for Saturday's match versus Fremantle.
Out with toe injury
DSydney Swans

August 12, 2020
Aliir will not play in Thursday's Sydney derby due to a toe injury, Andrew Wu of The Age reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite the Round 11 bye, Allir was unable to get up to speed after playing minimally versus Collingwood in the team's previous contest. His absence will give way for Nick Blakey to rejoin the Swans' lineup.
Late scratch Sunday
DSydney Swans

July 11, 2020
Aliir is a late scratch from Sunday's lineup against Richmond.
ANALYSIS
Aliir will be replaced by Robbie Fox in the lineup. The reason for Aliir's lack of availability remains undisclosed, so it remains to be seen whether an injury is to blame. He had posted double-digit disposals in four straight games leading up to July 4's lost against West Coast, in which he was limited to seven disposals.
Clunky performance Thursday
DSydney Swans
June 25, 2020
Aliir totaled 11 disposals (six kicks, five handballs) three marks and one tackle in Thursday's 67-39 loss to the Bulldogs.
ANALYSIS
Allir certainly had a presence in Thursday's loss, however, still appears unsure of things with the ball in his hands. His physical status affords him the opportunity to impact the game in a number of ways and it would seem that time is all he needs to develop his decision-making skills. With that being said, he has now played over 50 AFL games and the Swans will be hoping he can accelerate his development over the coming games.
