Three majors in 100th AFL showing
FFremantle Dockers
August 1, 2021
Tabener gained 12 disposals, five marks, three goals and a behind and tackle each as Fremantle edged out Richmond 55-51 at Optus Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Tabener played sensationally in what was the 100th appearance of his AFL career, topping double-digit disposal figures for the first time since May 15 and accounting for three of Fremantle's seven total majors on the day. The 28 year old exits Round 20 having now scored five goals in the Dockers' last two showings and increased his aggregate for the year to 32, 22nd-best in the league. Still, the forward is averaging just 62.7 fantasy points a game to this point in the 2021 campaign.

FFremantle Dockers
July 21, 2021
Taberner (calf) will play at some level this weekend, according to senior coach Justin Longmuir.
ANALYSIS
It's unclear if the forward will for Fremantle versus Sydney in Round 19 or return at a lower level. Taberner is fit to play, however, so it shouldn't be too long before he's back on an AFL pitch.

Calf
July 20, 2021
Taberner (calf) is listed as a test to return in Round 19 against Sydney, according to GM Peter Bell. "(Taberner is) progressing okay, it'll be touch and go whether he will be made available for the game against Sydney."
ANALYSIS
Taberner has just played once since the end of May as a nagging muscular injury has made it difficult to stay fit. Once back, look to Taberner as one of the top forwards on offer from the Dockers, as he's scored 27 goals in 11 games this season.

June 29, 2021
Taberner (calf) could be out for up to a month due to a calf injury suffered in Round 15 against Collingwood, according to GM Peter Bell.
ANALYSIS
Taberner has been struggling with injuries for much of June and this news confirms his absence for an extended period. Rory Lobb has stepped up in recent games and will carry more of the burden during Taberner's absence.

Calf
June 26, 2021
Taberner suffered a calf strain in Saturday's 91-79 win over Collingwood, per AFL Ratings.
ANALYSIS
This was Taberner's first match back after he missed a match versus the Bulldogs. He was only able to produce four disposals and a mark prior to exiting Saturday's came. Fremantle senior coach Justin Longmuir was hopeful in his post-match commentary that it would be a short-term injury for Taberner, but his status for Round 16 versus Carlton is to be determined.

Ankle
June 22, 2021
Taberner (ankle) is listed as a test for Round 15 against Collingwood, according to GM Peter Bell. "(Taberner) will train fully on Wednesday and we think he should be available this week."
ANALYSIS
Taberner missed Round 13 against Gold Coast with a knock to his ankle but didn't miss any other games due to the mid-June bye. With 27 goals in 10 games, Taberner still leads the Dockers in scoring.
